My personal Experience as an Area Coordinator or Local Representative:
Okay friends, here is a challenge for you. My role as a Local Coordinator of a foreign exchange organization has been a highlight of my life. Public Diplomacy at its very best! I get to share my home, my values, my life, with a person from another country. What an awesome opportunity. I get to adopt a child for a short time and speak into their life. I then have ties to another world, another country, another family. The ripple effect is undeniable. Did you know that there are over 300 world leaders right now who openly talk about how their experience as an exchange student affects them even to today? Did you know that billions of dollars last year were brought into the US economy through foreign exchange? Did you know that Foreign Exchange is a privilege in it's highest form If some of you have been on the fence with this idea for a while now, either hosting a student in your home or working with them as a supervisor, you may consider now, jumping in with two feet,. If you could be there when they find out that someone in America chose them, you would understand how this opportunity for them is life changing. They will never be the same and you won't either. Forever you will be connected to another part of the world. Are you being called to participate in this cultural experience? I encourage you all to take it seriously and please let me know if you want more information. I'd be happy to share. Thank you! AR; Cincinnati, OhioEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
